Big boy!

Last night some exciting things happened at our house.  Dusty slept in a big boy bed for the first time!! He kept trying to climb out of his crib so I decided that it was time for him to be a big boy.  He loves that he can climb in and out; he played in his bed all evening. He did so well.  I had to lay down with him to help you fall asleep but then he stayed in his bed all night. In the morning he cried for a minute until he realized that he could get out of bed and he came and found me.

I can't believe how big he is getting. I can't stand it.

Two Years Old!

I can't believe my handsome guy is two years old today. He is so amazing!

22 lbs

loves Trains, building towers, talking, running, playing with papa and mimie, going to daycare, making train and car sounds, snuggling, and being chased.  He is on track developmentally. At two they no longer adjust his age for being premature so he is still a little behind with speech but his gross motor skills are on track and his fine motor is catching up quickly.  He is in the 21% for weight.  Still skinny but at least on the chart. He is doing so well.  

I just thinking about being in labor and how scary it was. I just can't believe how far we have come. This time two years ago I was getting ready to push and everything was uncertain.  This time one year ago I had a scrawny little guy who was allergic to everything and underweight.  This year I have a thriving healthy beautiful little guy who is my whole world. I love him more than anything and can't wait to see what the next year brings.

Two Year Photo Shoot

I got sick of trying to track down a photographer that I liked and paying horrendously for it. So I whipped out a camera and a basic photo editing program and waaalaaa! Not too bad for my first attempt at amateur photography.

Christmas 2013

We had a great Christmas! Dusty was spoiled of course and so was I.

Halloween!

Dusty was a dinosaur this year.  I was going to dress up as a cavewoman but I didn't have my costume ready in time. I took half a day off and drove to Cedar so Dusty could spend Halloween with Papa and Mimie and Uncle Jake. It was a lot of fun.  We just went to a trunk or treat, a few houses, and then out for dinner.  He had a good time and sorta kinda got it. Well more than last year.
