This week has been really rough. Dusty's biological dad passed away last thursday. It was so unexpected and tragic. I hadn't talked to him in months and he never met Dusty. It is just hard knowing that Dusty will grow up without a daddy. I hope that someday I can meet someone who can be that for him. Because this boy deserves it. The funeral was monday and it was the hardest funeral I have ever been to. It was very rough to see his family going through such a hard time. All his extended family were happy to see Dusty and I think that eventually he will bring a lot of healing to that family. Especially since he looks exactly like his dad.
