My good friend Caitlin graduated this weekend and I decided to be there for her ceremony. So as soon as I got done with new teacher training I packed up my baby and headed down to Cedar City. We didn't tell my mom that we were coming. She was surprised. She thought she was coming home to Skype with me and Dusty and instead when she walked in there we were! It was fun to surprise her. Caitlin's graduation went great and I am very proud of her. I sure had a great time down there with my family. I miss them while I am up here. Although I am really starting to like it here in Huntington. There are so many kind people.
This will be an extremely busy week. I start school on Tuesday. I hope I am ready...As ready as I have time left to be. Tomorrow afternoon I finally have an appointment with the pediatric gastroenterologist for Dusty's tummy problems. Poor little shrimp doesn't eat very well at all. Then he throws up nearly every time he eats. Most of the time it is just a lot of baby spit up, but at least once a day it is full on throwing up. He throws up every time he eats anything solid except applesauce and rice. Then he gets constipated. I am really hoping we can start getting some answers tomorrow. It is miserable for him. Then he has very irregular poops.... diarrhea and constipation nearly all the time. He is just determined to do things his own way.
Dusty continues to sleep 8-9 hours straight at night. It is wonderful to be able to get that much sleep after so many months of little or no sleep. I am so proud of my handsome man. I sure love him. In this picture you can see really well his cute little forehead cowlick that he has. It is so adorable.
I redecorated my bathroom. It has been a long time. Next will be my bedroom once I have the money. I decided to do it like my favorite picture, Starry Starry night by Van Gogh. The rugs are black, the curtain is dark blue and the towels are dark blue, white, and yellow. I think it turned out cute.
Dusty and me all ready for my first day of work. I went to new teacher training two days last week. It was a ton of information and I learned a lot. I officially start on Tuesday, that is when the kids start.
While in Cedar, Dusty and I went bowling with Uncle Jake. It was a lot of fun. I love how my brothers and sister are my best friends.
